PPWA Covid-19 Update
At the Monday Nov. 16th meeting of the PPWA Board, the current National, State and Local COVID-19 situation was thoroughly reviewed. Significant concern was raised over the dramatic increase in new positive cases on all levels. We also considered the impact of the holidays in November through January. As a result, all PPWA Activity Groups that meet in the Club House, in Members’ Homes, including on Members’ Lanais, Biking Light and the Golf Group will be suspended until further notice. In addition, the Welcome Coffee for new members and residents scheduled for January 13, 2021 has been postponed.
The following Outdoor Activities – Tennis, PP Cyclers, Kayaking and Core, Strength, Stretch and Balance may continue to meet. The Core Class will meet outside in the Courtyard at the Club. Attendance will be taken at these activities. Members choosing to participate will be required to take their temperature before gathering for the activity and attest that it is less than 100.4 degree F. Appropriate Social Distancing will be enforced within all these groups. The health and safety of all of our members remains the driving force for these decisions. It is also very important that any member who has participated in a PPWA Activity, develops symptoms of COVID-19 and tests positive for COVID-19 within 5 days of the Activity, immediately notify their Activity Leader. The AL will confidentially notify other members in attendance of the potential exposure.
The following guidelines for participation in PPWA Activities are in place to avoid exposure and control the spread of COVID-19 within our community:
Navigating these unprecedented times remains a challenge for all. The PPWA Board will continue to keep you updated as things change. If you have any questions please contact Deb Parker at deboparker@yahoo.com

Grandma’s Attic
UPDATE: Grandma’s Attic has re-opened! Our loaner list on the PPWA website has been updated and we still have many members willing to lend items to other PPWA members who have visiting guests. Especially in view of continuing coronavirus concerns, we ask borrowers to thoroughly clean/sanitize items they are returning.
