Women in Garden Club look for exciting things to do, not just weed our flower beds. We travel to various places of interest, get numerous ideas about both interior and exterior designs, enjoy nature and learn about the paradise we are living in. We are not "Your Grandmother's Garden Club"

Garden Club School Tour
Garden Club members had a field trip to Garden Elementary School yesterday afternoon. (2/23). Received a tour of the school and visited a 4th grade class and their garden. Wonderful to be with the students and see their enthusiasm!

Garden Club met the first Wednesday of the month at 1:00 at the Clubhouse. Our speaker this month was Rick Belisle who is an expert on growing orchids. He grows over 100 types of orchids on his lanai. December Garden Club Speaker
Linda Boudreau created three Christmas arrangements that were raffled off at the end of the meeting. Linda explained the meaning of the various flowers that are used for the holidays. She also explained the color symbolism of the Christmas flowers which are: The traditional red, white, green and gold originated in Christian religious symbolism relating to the birth of Christ.
